Wayne is an experienced educational practitioner with over thirty five years teaching in both senior and junior high school education settings, both on the Mainland and In Tasmania. His background and teaching experience is primarily within the humanities context. He has developed curriculum for all levels of high school education.  His undergraduate and post-graduate educational experience is primarily within the humanities discipline, specifically in history, with reference to convict orphans in Tasmania from 1803 to 1879.  Wayne has extensive experience in the design of high quality, student centred learning and teaching experiences within the humanities context. He places particular importance on the development of subjects in which students are given the opportunity to explore, experiment, discuss and reflect on their learning.
