Non-festival participants are able to view both master classes and lunchtime concerts for $5.00 a day per person.

SMALL ENSEMBLES

Action packed small ensemble classes and workshops cater for every level. The novice group will include Kodaly, aural skills and the basics of ensemble playing and working with others; the ensemble class will focus on chamber music, master classes, and developing ones playing; the apprentice schedule will be mentored to perfect their playing in their solo repertoire for auditions, competitions, university entrance and diploma exams, and will also include the Camerata ensemble in the afternoon.

PUBLIC FESTIVAL CONCERTS

There will be two festival concerts each evening performed by the festival tutors. These concerts are a big part of the festival and are designed to inspire and invigorate the musical community.

GRAND FINALE CONCERT

The Grand Finale Concert is a vital part of the Nova Muse Festival and is held on Thursday, 7th October at the Penguin Uniting Church. You’ll spend over four hours a day rehearsing, either with your section or with the entire ensemble. The Grand Finale Concert is a celebration of the musical relationships and refined skills learned during the festival.
