Why did you choose teaching as a career?
I had an amazing teacher in Year 4 that I aspired to be. I also love working with children.
Who inspires you and why?
My year 4 teacher Mr Belick at Townsville Adventist School (now known as Riverside Adventist School).
What is the most rewarding thing about your role?
I really enjoy watching the kids light up when they realise something.
What are you looking forward to?
I look forward to helping create enthusiastic learners.
When you’re not teaching, what do you do in your downtime? Do you have interests or hobbies?
My favourite thing to do is read! I have also discovered a love for weeding.
What book are you reading, or what would we find on your podcast list? What do you love to learn about?
I actually love reading all sorts of things. So choosing just one is very difficult!
